Knowing your dog's facial structure is the key to choosing the right size muzzle. Measuring your dog's face and matching it with a measurements of the product is the second important step. Also, considering the actual purpose of the muzzle you buy will assure the successful choice of your purchase.

Training Your Dog to Wear a Muzzle

Commonly, a muzzle is being introduced to a dog when it is already grown out of the puppyhood. Therefore, it is more challenging to train an adult dog to tolerate to wear a muzzle. Also, the most important instrument of the animal - its mouth is being restricted and it creates additional reluctance in the dog's behavior to ignore this object on its face. It takes time and patience to successfully train your dog to be OK with putting and wearing a muzzle. Most of the dogs will never be too thrilled about putting on a muzzle.
